Investing in ZalvaTech

ZalvaTech applies advanced AI and machine learning techniques to design and develop site-specific, optimized biosorbents aiming to enhance recovery of precious and critical metals with high selectivity from complex mining streams, including tailings, low-grade ore, and mine-impacted water, turning long-term liability into recoverable value.

First proof point: greater than 99 percent gold recovery in under 15 minutes under controlled laboratory conditions using a synthetic gold solution.

Investors and strategic partners can request ZalvaTech investor materials to learn more about the company’s technology, commercial pathway, validation progress, and pilot-readiness plan.

What We've Proven

Greater than 99 percent gold recovery in under 15 minutes from an AnkiBind-guided formulation under controlled laboratory conditions using a synthetic gold solution.

AnkiBind is deployed.

A cloud-hosted platform with tiered user access. AnkiBind guided the biosorbent chemistry behind ZalvaTech’s first gold result.

180+ structured customer discovery conversations

ZalvaTech has completed more than 180 structured customer discovery conversations with mining operators, technical leaders, tailings and water specialists, and commercialization stakeholders.

CAD $520K secured

ZalvaTech has secured CAD $520K, including $360K in Mitacs non-dilutive funding, with the rest through NRC IRAP and a friends-and-family round.

3-layer IP strategy

ZalvaTech’s intellectual property strategy includes trade-secret biomaterial formulations, a proprietary AnkiBind algorithm, and planned process-integration patents.

Validation partners

ZalvaTech is working with MIRARCO and NORCAT for mining ecosystem integration validation, and with the Verschuren Centre for process optimization and scale-up.

Why Now

Ore Grades Are Declining

Gold grades are down approximately 50 percent over 30 years, while copper grades are down approximately 25 percent over 10 years.

Demand Is Outrunning Supply

Projected 2024 to 2040 growth includes lithium increasing by 353 percent, nickel by 69 percent, cobalt by 49 percent, and copper by 28 percent.

New Supply Arrives Too Late

Building a new mine takes roughly 17.8 years, creating a timing gap between rising demand and new primary supply.

Tailings Accountability Is Tightening

The August 2025 Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management milestone brings 77 auditable requirements.

Policy Is Actively Enabling Recovery

Policy momentum includes Ontario's recovery permit in July 2025 and the G7 critical minerals declaration in June 2025.

Defensibility

ZalvaTech's advantage is not one formulation. It is the closed loop connecting site chemistry, biomaterial design, and measured performance.

Physics First.

Recommendations are grounded in thermodynamics, mass balance and kinetics, not pattern-matching alone.

It Compounds.

Every experiment sharpens the next recommendation.

Integration Is the Moat.

Proprietary binding motifs, process know-how, and access to real mine samples.

De-Risk First, Scale Through Shared-Value Deployment

Qualify

Site data and samples.

Feasibility Study

Site-specific validation.

Mine-Site Pilot

Field validation under real conditions.

Commercial Deployment

Shared-value basis.

No plant rebuild, and no large upfront capital commitment from the operator.

Operators are Paying to Manage Waste While Leaving Recoverable Value Behind

Accumulated Global Tailings

Approximately 282 billion tonnes of accumulated global tailings.

Estimated Contained Metal Value

More than US$2.5 trillion in estimated contained metal value.

Reprocessing usually does not pencil: energy, chemicals and capital expenditures are too high, one-size-fits-all methods struggle with site-specific chemistry, and legacy tailings still carry long-term closure, monitoring and treatment obligations.

Total Addressable Market

Approximately $150 billion TAM in global recoverable metal value in mining waste streams.

Serviceable Available Market

Approximately $5.4 billion SAM in North American gold tailings and closure-stage legacy site recoverable value.

Beachhead Serviceable Obtainable Market

Approximately $200 million beachhead SOM, focused on initial markets where adoption is most realistic.

Beachhead first: legacy gold tailings, where economics and adoption are strongest. The platform expands to multi-metal recovery across broader mine-waste streams over time.

Estimated contained metal value; actual recoverability varies by site chemistry, grade and process economics.

Where the Next Round Takes Us

We are raising to move ZalvaTech from laboratory proof to a pilot-ready deployment package: real-sample validation, scale-up, and the site-specific evidence customers require before committing to a pilot.

Path to Pilot-Ready

This raise funds the transition from lab proof to real-tailings validation, scale-up, and a pilot-ready deployment package, the evidence customers need before pilot commitment.

Real-sample validation

Thirty-five percent of the raise is allocated to real-sample validation using actual tailings and mine-impacted water from BC legacy gold sites.

Scale-up and media cycling

Thirty-five percent of the raise is allocated to scale-up and media cycling, including 1L to 30L to 100L testing, immobilization, reuse, and process data generation.

AnkiBind, IP and pilot prep

Thirty percent of the raise is allocated to AnkiBind, intellectual property development, and pilot preparation, including the data loop, process-integration IP, and the field-pilot package.

Team
